Does anyone that has GeForce 2 MX400 and has it configured to work properly with Max 5 so that the hardware drivers can be used instead of software.

Would you care to help me? Explain to me the configuration?

Mysteriouslly my Direct3d Driver is working properly now, except for forcing 2-sided polys.

Any solutions to that?

To see objects with two sided polygons correctly just click off 'backface cull' at the object properties.
When you reload the file you have to click it on and off again to see it correctly again.
