View Full Version : Lattice Flexors and Rigid Skin

Hello again everybody!
We meet again (for the record, I am new and this is my second post)

I am trying to make a rigid-skinned character and I am setting up the flexors for the thighs and I've come to a question.

Is there any way to control the influence of the lattice flexor (or weight) on a "per lattice-point basis"?
I need to do that so the center part of the hip isn't influenced by the flexor while the outermost part of it IS influenced.
Any ideas?

Thanks

sure basicly these flexors are just lattices. so you can adjust the weights either with the component editor or just by assign and deassign single cv's to the deformation set of the flexor. what you're looking for probably is the component editor. you'll find a tab weighted deformers (if i remember right now, don't have maya in front of me right now).

Thanks, I'll check that

Strike two.

I am unable to change any attrib in the component editor and I don't know why :annoyed:

Well, I think I'll just stick with smooth skin
