ace! love the image, lots of action and movement shown in the pose, and nice job on the texturing, i think what that ATmos_fear was talking about those new electric shavers that norelco makes, heres a link:

but that is a far reaching association if i ever saw one

Wow, marvellous! The character looks so agile and graceful. The tail really adds an agressive touch. The composition is excellent. Off you go, to my desktop background!!! :thumbsup:

Just one suggestion about the Dronez website, which has a great design, btw. You shouldn't make the site go full screen as, to my experience navigating it, there is no way to resize the site and reduces the visitors freedom a bit ;)

Or they might just be a big red button that I overlooked :shrug:

thanks to everyone:

the original concept, why the robot should have three eyes, was that he has to TRI-angulate everything he sees, in order to realize his environment. since he is a multifunctional bot, you could of course use his head for a shave...
yes- and we were a lot inspired by this "aimee" bot from red-planet. i never watched the entire movie, but the sequences with the bot of course a hundret times. we even have a scene, inspired by this cool aimee "unfolding" - sequence, when she is activated.

Love the design. Are you doing this for private or is it a company you´re working for?

Thanks for the nice comments!
@RiotManZ:
We are doin´ this short movie as a freetime student project for our reels. We are a team of four people. If you want to see some more stuff of the project, follow the following links to my homepage. There are some more stills. And a few concept arts that I did for the project. (But I didn´t load up the robot design sketch there because I didn´t draw it in a cool pose!)
