View Full Version : shadows cast into volume primitives?

I'm trying to cast shadows into a volume sphere, but wether I use raytraced or depthmap, MR or Maya software, all that happens is the shadow is cast onto the shell of the sphere rather than into the fog.

I'm not able to use light fog in this case.

Could you post an image of what you talking about. It would give us a better idea of whats going on, remember a picture is worth a thousand words.
