CGTalk - Character

This is the first version of my Santa character for a little short movie.
I can already see that a bigger nose and better made hands would do him great, but I will leave that till tomorrow, so please give me your opinion on the little dude.

And then a have a question, how should I do an eye? Can’t make out how five pictures are to become one material… so if you know please tell me.

Nice santa you have, since you mentioned the hands and nose i lost what i was going to crit.

Are you going to texture him or are you planning on using your current materials?

Here I post another two pics showing the materials I had in mind, but I’m not pleased with the golden color on the belt.

But hej, this is my first high polly character.

The only thing I what to texture is the face so I can get some red on the nose and the cheeks.

a dark outdoor with teh snow set to self illuminate a bit so that it gives the reflective feel.

Thanks BiTMAP, and sorry for not respondig erlier but i wanted to have something to show.
Did some work with the lightening and I hoped to get it better this time.

I did tri to use illumination but didn't get the right tuch and it was difucult to handle.

Give me all the critics U got.

ahhh THAT is nice :D see the snow feels bright nuff, now if you had the moon, you'd prolly want the "snow" (only on ground) giving off a very dark blue selfillm.

Stars....and a moon maybe...:shrug: and some steam coming from the pipe...that would look cool..also some frost on the windows....just an idea...looks good so far....:thumbsup:
