The concept is a very rough sketch this is the story behind it.
In The Medieval People Did A Lot Of Things To Make God Angry We Never Saw A Revenge Action Untill Now.
The Castle That Is Under Attack Is The Most Disappointing Place That Has Been Made By God.
All The Bad People Who were disobedient Will Suffer By The Dark Angels Of God And The Good One May Live And Were Escorted By An Angel Of God To The Ship Where Their Journey To A Better Place Begins.

Lightning, people running, classic Noah theme and classic Noah ship.
I dont mean to be rude, and I actually incourage your theme and idea! But the last time I incouraged someone to do the same theme as me, I felt bad. I felt bad because I found out later that it is against the rules. They would have had trouble, but luckly they did not.
So if you dont care about rules, I fully support your art. You may be ok, because I did village and you did castle, you may also be ok by not including animals, especially 2x2.
Its good to do a search to make sure people are not doing what you want first.
I am sorry if this sounds rude, Im not a rude person, I just dont want to see you hoop yourself.
Now for some C&C: I like your castle, I would love to have a few castle models in my collection. Its nice to see imperfections, I little ambient occlusion would help your shadows etc. Are your bricks a bump? or Displacement, they look good :) In your concept sketch it appears that someone angelic is saving theme that should be fun! Is it your main character? I would try to orient them closer to the audience so you can see more expression. The lake seems to be out of place, but could be very styleee!

I used a lot of reference too, but I had a really hard time with my perspective. I look forward to seeing someone doing something similar!! But my ship is a flying one, and there will only be a handful of goodpeople inside, no villagers.

it wasn't my idea to make almost the same as yours and i did look around but didn't saw your concept i'm sorry buttttt i'll tell you more about the story so that you and every one else will see that thank god it's not the same :).
the people that are coming out of the castle are 2 knights and the servents that they took with them ,all the other people that are left in the castle are knights.
the boat forget about the ark because actually i wanted to make a spanish boat like in my concept although it's not very visibly(the ark that i made was just a sketch i would changed it in 3d to look different that was the basic idea).
the left side off the picture is the dark side and the right side is the bright side so as soon as they have left the left side of the screen they are in the brightness already but when they reach the boat the journey really begins and that's not the same as the noa of ark idea ;).
the lightning bolt is only there because some of the knights wanted to fled but god didn't give them a break so he threw a bolt to break the bridge so they couldn't escape.
dark angels or the evil angels of god they were made by the devil but god took them away because they were pure evil.
he made them pure again but their body's were still the same and they still had a thirst for human souls.
so god kept them instead of baneshing them to the dead realm to do his dirty work.
the good angel at the right side is not the main character 2 of the knights will be.
the castle bricks are made out of bump and the lightning isn't the final exposure thnks for the C&C.
so i hope this clears up everything and hope that the jury agree's that it's not the same.
by the way thanks my friend to notice me of the problem i'll hit you up with some c&c.

Hey there, some nice progression here, you've got a computer game style going on with that castle which is cool. Loads going on in the scene, that should keep you busy for a loooong time!

The castle is nice, you've got nice details in the textures too (eg the moss). The castle is a smallish element so this level of detail should be fine for the style you seem to be going for. Although I can see the texture seam though around the pillars.:p It's kinda irrelevant though.
Nice boat concepts too. Now you just gotta model them! Keep up the good work.:)

i only need to add some ropes and detail the ropes then on to the texture.
Bit of advice... Go wild on the ropes, the more you have the better I would say! ;)

This ship looks way better ;) Have you had any progress with your main character concepts?
Your ship will look great for your style. Maybe some stain glass window and one of those large steering wheels, what are they called?

I can edit my enviroment mostly the colors, but I don'y know where to upload an image to display in maya like what you have going on, I'll figure it out sometime:) And also did you model that sexy girl?:D

Here's a more advanced atmosphere test, this isn't the final brigde ship is gonna be more in the back and the castle also, the brigde will be closer to see the main characters better.
Looks cool so far :thumbsup:
I was going to say increase the perspective to pull the wall closer to the camera but leave the castle and ark in the background but then I read you will be bringing it closer. hey ho :rolleyes:

hi i didn't work on this project for a while here's the chubby angel i still need to add detail and wings.
i made the basic shape in zbrush then exported it to cinema and added more detail then back to zbrush and added the displacement map and then to cinema again to add hair and texture.
comments are welcome.
