Hey all. Would anyone know how to get 3d studio max to seamlessly weld to video footage using green screening. When ever i try it it seems like my object (viper model) is floating over top a 3d studio max image. Any help would be awesome.

This question is too vague to be answered as is. Please give us images of the problem, as well as your methods. Remember that there are hundreds of way to acheive this effect, and we are not in your skull.

Thanks, and I look forward to helping once we have more info.

I took a mpeg movie of my dodge viper model on a green screen. i am then using after effects to try and make a desert like terrain under the viper. But in the final rendering It looks like the viper is hovering over the image and has no movment. I am at work right now so i cannot supply any images :S. But if you have any idea how to maybe remedy this problem it would be awesome. Even any tips on creating static images of a viper on a desert using freen screening would be awesome. Im kinda a film newbie and would like to experiment with this.Thanks.

I see this is your first post, and for that, I'll let you in on something.

We here at Cgtalk love to help...But we also are not a help desk, nor a software support line.

If you have a question, give us ALL the details we need to diagnos and fix your problem. We need screen shots, and a close deatil of your method. Re-read your post and think about how it looks to us. Some of it makes no sense.

I'm not trying to be hard on you, and we welcome you to the board, but if you want our help, please respect our time enough to give us the proper information...

This post would have been ignored had I not answered it, so it's in your best interest(for future posts) to heed my advice.

Look forward to hearing from you, and I hope we can be of help.
