View Full Version : Rigging a 3 length arm - Foldable down on itself

I need help with the workflow for rigging a 3-length arm that folds down in maya. I have a couple crude drawings below to describe what I am talking about, but the end result - think a more mechanical version of the legs on the matrix bomb-chuckers (name escapes me)

Figure joints with IK 'cause I need total freedom on movement, no retraints on the pivots of each joint.

Any ideas to pointing me in the right direction?
