got XL8 and its zooms are different from the XL7.
in XL7 i just resized the whole scene and perspectives fixed themselves, in XL8 resizing doesnt make a difference.

so which is the correct perspective ? and is there any easy way of keeping everything straight and perfectly upright ?

Hi,
the function of the triangle icon in the top right corner of a view has changed in R8. In R7 it was zoom (change of focal lengt) in R8 its dolly (movement of camera along Z).
Using the icon with the right mouse button will zoom in R8.

yes, i have done that, the 2nd image down is right click zoom, but its not the same as XL7 zoom, and the new zoom makes it all look even more screwed up, i am reall lost :annoyed:
