If you're looking for commercial tutorials, we cover Rigging extensively in RiggingPRO (http://3dquakers1.com/webroot5/index.php).

My DVD's also cover the whole range of what you need to know. The first two DVD's cover rigging in several different ways, the third covers skinning and the forth facial morphing and rigging. Just follow the links in my signature.

Take a look at my good friend Sergio Mucino's site

www.maxtd.com (http://www.maxtd.com/Character/IK101/Rigging101.htm)

Good luck

I would first go through the max tutorial CD a few times to get the hang of how the basics are done and then pick up 3dsmax bible (the book), do some of it's tutorials and then purchase a VTM dvd for further indepth ideas on how things work. I wish someone would do a VTM on how rotations work by example.

take a look at cg-academy, they've been really ontop of things when it comes to learning max via VTM.
