Hey,
I recently reformatted my brothers old desktop, and for some reason the sound doesn't work anymore. It makes like beeps but thats it. The sound was working before I reformatted it. My guess is it's missign a driver. Is there a way to scan my comptuer for missing drivers, and then download them?

The hard ware manager will be able to look for drivers online.. otherwise you probably need to download the drivers for your particular device. If its a sound card, go to that companies web site, if it is a onboard sound solution, get the drivers from the motherboard's CD or web site.
