Hallo my first post here :)

alright short intro first : i am carsten lemme from germany and i study industrial design at the design academy eindhoven and damn i have to improve my sketching and drawings skills

please help me

here are my first marker sketches with copics and marker paper

overlay, overlay, overlay
grab some tracepaper and keep at it.
get the shape done with crisp lines with proper lineweight.
get some templates to clean up your line work,
once you have a good outline get some trace paper and work of it.
so you dont ruin the original

for shadding,
use marker paper, ones that are semi transparent are great like beinfang papers
find your source of light
figure out the texture of the object (shiny, flat, dull, etc)
start by getting the shawdows in.
you dont need to color everything
use a blender marker to smooth out shadding

Scan into computer and touch it up in photoshop or painter.
Get CLEAN LINES!
