Hi,...

I'm stuck on this head =/ I try to attach the surfaces and get strange results !!! is there a possibility to attach these components ?!

I made fillets and attached some surfaces, but now i have theese corners where 3 Surfaces come together. When i attach them Maya builds a new surface which looks bad =/ so how do i get rid of the corners and have a smooth transition between the 3 surfaces ?!

#Help would be apreciated !!!

the problem is that your connecting points are not tangeant.. Every end point needs to be point snapped to the corresponding point on the connecting surface.

I would recommend completely cutting it back up. Rebuilding the surfaces and try to smooth out those problem areas like the jaw line.. also the lips dont look to have any depth to em.

OK an example...

I have 2 'NURBS'planes and want to attach them

when I attach them it would look like the picture below . . .

ur 2 NURBS planes have different number of isoparms, that's the reason why u can't attach them like that. if u wanna make a shape like that with NURBS surface, what u can do is make the connection seamless between the 2 surface, but u will still end up with 2 patches. Once u match the tangent and scale, u could make a perfect seamless, go to highend3d.com to download some useful tools :)
