rough sketch of what I have in mind, but more details are going to fit in there such as mountains and vegetation, maybe a ancient temple if time is kind to me

Yaya, way to go ;) What are you aiming for on your cloth shading? Is it gonna be silk? Then perhaps you should try out the anisotropic shader. And some bump to break up the surface. And a map for the specularity would be nice, making it a bit different betweeen the regular clothcolor and your nice symbols.

By the way, what is she holding in her right hand? I forgot what you told me earlier :)

Akisu is a half japanese warrior of nature, with her catlike eyes and hands she has blood of the cat family runningin her veins. I can say that I´m not proud of this image, if I had more time and a faster computer I would have been able to make it so much better. For example her pose looks stiff and boring and her facial expressions hasen´t even been touched so hehe: As for the background I intend to make a new one when I have more time.
