Hey guys, here's one for you. I've been UV mapping a character that has duplicated pieces on each side and when object 1 is mapped and I try to transfer the set from object 1 to duplicated object 2 the UV's go crazy creating massive border edges. So it is evident the vert ordering is getting messed up somewhere I just do not know where.

Objects are completely identical, are part of an already bound and rigged character. I've asked my instructors here and they don't know of a fix. If anyone can crack this it will make life sooo much easier and I'll even throw in some homemade cookies to boot.

Much Appreciated,

Bryant

You probably flipped the parts with negative scale...
When you do that normals are flipped after freeze transform. So if you are UV mapping a hand and you want to transfer the uv to the other hand you have to flip the normalsback to where they were before the freeze transform (even if this means flipping them inwards.) Then transfer and flip back.
