Anyone outhere can help me plaese. all out ideas.

I have a 3D camera with movement on 3d space, and I want to lock footage to the camera is there a way to do this without parenting. Is like adding an image projection to a camera. If i was to do this in a 3d application no matter where the camera goes or the lens is use the footage is lock to the camera.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you in advance

If it's combustion and you are dealing with a 3D Composition, why not import the whole into an 2D one so you can put it as layer that doesnt move at all?

Just out of curiosity... why is parenting not an option?

If you're concerned about it overlapping you can select the background layer. Click on the "Layer" tab. Under Depth Order select "Background".

Now just parent that layer to your Camera, and it'll always be in the background and it'll remain locked onto the camera.

Edit: Sorry I'm also assuming you're using combustion. Are you using combustion or FFI?

Better late than never right?

I found the "correct" answer to your problem.

In the layer properties.

Set the "Depth Order" to background

Then... to the right of that under "Options"
Toggle: "Lock orientation."

I'm sure this is too late for whatever you needed to do before, but if you ever need to do it again, now we know.
