Hey there, these are very cool renders, although I must admit they do feel a little lifeless to me (mood wise). But they are well made!
I'd say you have a very good starting point for texturing, so you should probably focus on that and develop it further. You do need to work on your specular maps :)
Otherwise, good luck!!!! :D

Those images are great! Allthough the subject is not that interesting The light and the modeling are really good. You've got an eye for detail, I like that!
There should be an "all of the above" (bar the janitor) option... very very nice work :D

damn nice work!!!!
I certainly agree with the others. You have very good modelling skills, and lighting is very good as well!! (yes, i AM jealous!)
I think that you should conentrate more on developing your modelling skill, cos you're good at it, plus being able to model, gets you real far on your own!

I do not agree on your images being moodless. ( sorry leigh)
While i don't like the second one very much, prolly cos of the lill man's expression, i absolutely love the first pic. It is an awesome work, specialy in what light concerns.
So my vote would go for light ;)
EDIT: How the heck do i vote?????

I like all of the modeling except for the guy, something about him looks weird but I can't put my finger on it. The texturing is great to.
I could easily see you as a prop/set designer.
