Hi I have an object that is offset in rotation to the world space. It has had history deleted and transforms frozen.
What i need to do is scale the object along its own axis.
To do this i have been manually trying to orient the scale transform to its local axis.
So what i have been doing is right clicking on the Pivot component and checking the scale pivot.
I then select the yellow pivot point that appears, but i cant rotate it !
In the attributes i cant find a rotation value for the local scale pivot, only positional.
Any hints?
TIA

I havent tried this yet, so it might not work.

Display > Component Dislpay > Scale Pivots.

Now go into component selection mode and choose the question mark and nothing else. You should be able to select, move and rotate the pivot.

you can't rotate a scale pivot....you can just create a locator and rotate that to the angle you want and parent everything under the locator.
