View Full Version : Remove MR stuffs from a file

Hi all!

When I open some files, I see in the output window that Mental Ray gets loaded. But I don't use/need mental for this file. I guess lots MR stuffs are embeded in these files (and may increase its size). How to remove / clean up MR stuffs from a Maya file ?

well, im not sure, but i think the only way is to unload the mr plugin?!

It will unload MR for sure, but does it truly remove all the MR attributes of the current file ?

It seems I should use the hidden command miCustomNodesRemove;
