Hi All,

I just finished texturing my scene and I wanna get it rendered so i can composite it...
im awful and lighting and rendering so i could really use some advice...

I wanted to set up a moody early morning or late day scene...

in both cases put in a low, redish directional light, get some environment sphere going and use final gather. that should give you a base.

About softshadows, if you are using a directional light for the sun and raytraced shadows, try these settings under the raytraced shadows attribute
Light Angle=0.6
Shadow Rays=6
