View Full Version : Fixing Steps Order...

Its just silly, but Ive always wondered what about the "normal" process of making a 3D model... lets say for a still.

I finished a model, its rigged skinned, and started to UV map. now I just realisated that the textures are not moving with the model, and had had to do it before skinning. I just thought up about detaching skin and importing weights but for some reason, is not working. it keeps the same default weights, can anyone tell me what could have been going wrong? gotta dele history¿?

What software?

In 3dsmax, this is usually fixed by placing the UV modifier(s) in the modifier stack below the Skin modifier, instead of above it.

Thanks for the reply Eric. This time Im using Maya, and as long I know cant move the history "steps".... I guess that importing weights would be the best solution, but... cant figure out why it is not working!!

You should probably post this in the Maya forum, since it seems to be a software-specific issue.
