concept arts for my own project.

sorry for high compression, but the file otherwise would be too big.. it's still big though..

anyway, i really hope you'll like it as this project shows clearly my various asian inspirations and i really spent so much time on painting all those details.. painted in Painter 7 and Photoshop on pencil sketches, only my own custom brushes and textures were used for cloth patterns.. no reference used, except looking up my books with japanese and chinese pictures few times..

Nice costume design!
The actual rendering and proportions of the characters could use a little more work, but as concept art, its great. You get a very good idea of how the clothes would look. Very imaginative designs, but the last 2 on the right are my faves.

Nice work. Have to agree with pretty much everything andy said here. Second last one is my fav... cool pose and costume.

a beautiful work, design, details and colors selection. The only thing that bugs me a little are the feets pointing inwards of the girl at the right.

I think i know why AndyH and alfy liked the two last images..........maybe they are.............
...................PURE BLOODED COMPUTER GAMERS

the first three can pass as traditional costumes for Chinese and the Japanese...

the fourth and fifth has a high probability in passing for the traditional costumes for..........................the Games Industry...........and amazingly their pose too can pass...
...they project a sense of innocence... :thumbsup:
