View Full Version : A/B Buffers

Has anyone tried to get the A/B buffers working in 5.01?

It says use "," for A and "." for B and "/" for A/B.....
But i can't seem to get it to do anything much at all...

Any ideas?

As i post this i see that 5.02 has been released, so i'm downloading now...
Hopefully it's a bug as i just read this:

"5.02 change list
The A/B toolbar button now updates correctly when the buffer is set using the from hotkeys"


So i hope this is the fix, otherwise any tips would be appreciated....

There are no known bugs with 5.01 and the A/B buffers. Perhaps you could explain the problem in more detail? The manual chapter for the display view is quite detailed, and covers the buffers in depth.

In essence, you have two fixed display views in one place. Normally the A buffer is active, but you can switch the view to the B buffer using the period key on your keyboard, or by clicking on the B toolbar button under the view. To view an image in the B buffer drag and drop the tool tile into the view. To compare the images in the buffers to each other, select the "/" key. You can switch back to the A buffer using the comma key.

If this is not working for you, please contact technical support for assistance, and we will help you resolve the cause of the problem.

No, thankyou IZYK..... That was a great help.
That indeed got it working as i'd expected....

I was not dragging the tool tile into the viewport.... Doh!
