I bought 2gb of Mushking Extreme PC4000 RAM, and it works great. I have the same mother board as well. The 3800x2 overclocks very well, and it currently holds the record of the highest overclock. So, if you like OCing things, you can 4800x2 performance from a 3800x2 if you have the know-how and time to overclock your stuff :) The RAM mentioned above also overclocks very well ;)

What brand/company is that PSU from? I'm using an Athena PSU (550w, and supports SLI, etc.) and it works great.

A lot of people recommend OCZ or Antec PSUs, but sometimes Antecs are hit and miss, but usually hit :)

I would just build it yourself and not buy from someone. Now if it were a laptop, then that'd be a different story ;)

don't know much about building it myself - think I'll rather buy it all done

cheers,

Just so you know, I built my first one without any "know-how." I just read stuff on the internet, and I also bought a copy of PC Gamer [Magazine]. In that edition, they were doing a complete walk-thru and it really helped.

The 939 AMD socket CPUs are easy to install, and so is most of everything else. Just make sure you buy a case big enough so that you're comfortable working in it. :)
