just wondering if there is anything out there like "Massive"

http://www.massivesoftware.com/index.html

something free...lol....or to try

I can allways just emit instanced geometry from a particle emmiter and use dynamics to have them bang off of each other....but I was wondering if there was a plugin out there that maybe offered a few more options to tweek....if anyone had written a plugin or such...

anyone know of any? I think it'd be a great project for someone to take up...though I imagine it'd be a tuff one.

thanks for reading!

Character Studio 3 has a crowd simulator with a similar thread as Massive, just...well, not on such a Massive scale. :D

I believe(don't quote me on this) that blizzard entertainment has used CS3 for many of thier crowd scenes.

I've used it a bit, and it gets the job done...Unfortunatly a bit more expensive than free...

Just a thought.

First off. THat practice was for whores like entangle that cant code by themselves.

And the site will soon go up. If anybody is interested. The pathfinding is just reynolds pathfinding algorithm but annoying to code
