CGTalk - Mouse Slowdown

This is probably a neophyte question, but the answer is escaping me and the problem is driving me crazy. I am running two Dell 24" monitors. I Have an AMD 3500+ (the single core version) and an A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard with two Nvidia 6600GT's. One monitor hooked to each graphics card. Everything runs great, but when using Maya my mouse slows down by about 1/3rd. I am sure that this was not always the case and just started recently, but I do not know how to fix it. It is actually causing me to feel nauseous as my left screen moves quickly but when I swing back into Maya it slows again. The program itself is not slow, just mouse movement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well it appears fiddling adnauseum fixed it. I disabled do not use mouse acceleration in games and that seemed to fix it. I guess it was changing all my apps as it was not just Maya that was affected. Thank goodness I am up to full speed again.
