Volume 1 of the Lightwave range will include advanced use of the star sphere, the BBQ editor and different ways to close the application when you are finished. The first DVD goes on sale later today. Due to the anticipated popularity, sales will be strictly limited to one each, and your name must be Dave.

Hey, you don't always have to close LW - sometimes it just closes itself. Often when you were least expecting it...

Does the BBQ segment make use of voxels?

Can't believe how close I came to blowing my life savings at a "Lightwave" school a few years ago. Sure glad I decided on Cinema4D :)

WOW! I SERIOUSLY hope that is NOT the direction LW's GUI is going in. That is the worst GUI layout I have ever seen! Yuck!! What is that really? I assume you aren't breaking an NDA to put that up? I REALLY hope that is NOT LW9 !!!

Excellent! Is the custom GUI shown on the screenshot included on the DVD?
It reminds me of some other program but I can't remember which one.
