Hey guys i am looking around for a new laptop.
And i think i have found some thing hat fits the budget and preformance is okay as well.
I was just wondering do you think this will be enof to be able to handle most of my needs for experimenting with VFX
Well okay biggest fun i get out of doing some stuff with particles.
How ever i have question about CPU and Video card on this one.
Will CPU be bale to handle good amount and video card as well.
I was reading somewhere around here that 6800 has some problems with particles.

well the processor, and video card seem adequate to do particles, i was toing particles in combustion on a pentium 3 833Mhz. I dont know if there is a problem with the 6800 though, but it is powerful enough, you might run in to problems if you go into really high end stuff. And a word of advice, dont oerrun a laptop, and dont use it on your lap, i've had a laptop die because it overheated. and i know of lots of friends that overheated thiers, laptops arent meant to be used for intensive workstation loads. Unless you are willing to spend $4000.
