Design Mecha For My Project

hard to crit something like this, whos to say what mecha is really supposed to look like;)

nice job so far...the pic seems a little dark so its kinda hard to really see the torso details...(you did that for artistic reasons, right?)

But I really like where its going, the round shapes are more apealing to me in a mech design....

Yikes! That's a damn beautiful mech! Can't wait to see his legs. I love his neck structure and the detail around the rib cage and all. It'd be great to see a really gritty texture applied to the surfaces as I think a shiney metal wouldn't fit the style of the mech. It looks like a battle mech of some kind that should be all scratched up. Excellent design!:bounce:

The only crits I have are the plates at the bottom - they look like they're just floating in midair. Maybe put some gears or wires underneath?

Well, I don't think it will have to bend over, but I don't think it could. The space under is ribcage and his neck is really tight.
From what I see, the joints should move alright.
I dig the falcon-head disign. (actually reminded me of the movie "Stargate")
