Hey everybody,

Someone I know says they'll sell me their:

Apple PowerBook G4 - 12inch
867Mhz
128MB+128MB (256MB Total)
60GB HD
8x
SuperDrive
(Good condition, cables, battery holds a charge, no scratches, no dead pixels)

For £230 / $400

Could any MacHeads (sorry I don't know what you call yourself!) tell me how much a deal like that is worth?

Please could you respond as quick as possible, as I have to give them an answer by tomorrow morning.
Also, sorry if I haven't put enough details/specs, the person selling isn't the most computer literate in terms of hardware & that's all the info they gave me.
However, I'm sure they'll help if I phone'em to find out more info.

BTW: I'm in the UK, if that makes any difference to the price.

Cheers for any help

I don't know how much it's worth, but I think it needs more RAM. 256MB is not enough.

I think the minimum should be 512MB, or 1024MB (1GB+) for media apps.

In the UK you pay more for new computers than in the US, so I'd expect used computers to also cost a bit more.
