hey, hope somebody can help me with that...

i recently upgraded from visual studio 6 to visual studio.NET and my problem now is that the plug-in files compiled in visual studio.NET cannot be opened in maya. maya says it can't find the initializePlugin method! are there any settings in .NET that you have to set in order to make it work properly?

there is also no option for the maya plugin wizard anymore in .NET... i tried to reinstall maya so that maya's setup program can again install this wizard for visual studio.NET but setup didn't ask me whether i wanted to install the wizard or not (as it is usually with visual studio 6)...can this be a problem? i mean that visual studio.NET just doesn't know HOW to compile .mll files?

hope that all made sense :-)

thanks
MJ

ok, i finally figured it out myself how to set up visual studio.NET for maya plugins without the wizard... i should have taken a look at the maya help files before posting my question coz there's a section called "Creating a Plug-in project file manually"... :-)
