Hey all!

Is it possible to use weightmaps as a texture map. Useful say if you would like to paint a mask for a texture. Instead of doing it in a paint program you could paint directly on the mesh and use that as a mask or overlay of some sort. Do you use vertex paint for that? (never tried that)

Yes it's possilble with a map lookup. I use them sometimes but the detail is limited to per vertex.
