Concept: The game is taking place on a few tropical islands. In this level a rivalling tribe kidnaps your tribe's best fisherman. You have to find him and help him to escape.

After lurking here for quite some time I decided to get into the challenge. I know there is only a week left, but it should be enough. Here are some wips of what I did so far.

Interesting design. Im not familiar with DS technology but is there anyway you can bring more color into your island?

I have just started working on this level; I will add more features soon to make it livelier.
If I have time, I will make change some of the rock texture to add some variation and colour changes. But first I will finish the rest of the level; there will be a little village on the other side of the mountain. To get there you will have to cross a dangerous passageway through the mountain.

yay another DS challenger!

looking good, like the style of your textures, but the palms tree fonds are yuk, id also make the sea/sky a brighter blue, more tropical
