hmmm.....I wonder.....is this going to be the first SquareEnix title? if not, then ill probably be anticipating Draqon Quest 8 a lot more than ff12....

Enix is a publisher, it doesnt develop games.
Actual in-game contents and such are created by different company(ies) and Enix Publishes them.
Square develops and publishes.
But after it becomes SquareEnix then I think Former Square will be working on Enix series or on a joint project.
funny if there were>>
Final Quest, Dragon Fantasy lol

So it's true...the team behind Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story is handling FF12. That alone is guarantee enough for me that the game will seriously rock.
Akihido Yoshida creates awesome designs, his characters are stunningly good...also on the first image, you can see the words '3D' and 'MAYA' popping out of the Japanese under Yoshida's profile. heheh...that's almost reason enough for me to do the switch (from max), cause this guy is my god (sorry, God).

ditto :D really looking forward to this one. supposedly itll be a bit different than most ff games. itll most likely incorporate some of the tech that was used in both FFT and vagrant :) an old rumor heard long ago. so no clue if its true. but if it is.... :D :D

not being much of a RPGer, i did fall in love w/ Vagrant Story. i liked the look and feel of that game. i'm looking forward to this FF.

With all the creative energy that goes in the games, I still can't beleive they went for a mostly typical sci-fi movie:( I mean if it had been anything like that or FFIX, it would have certainly attracted more people because of the original visuals than cold and sterile environments. Oh well, life goes on.
