View Full Version : character: Sherpa
brschmidt 12-25-2002, 08:30 PM First post newbee... and first attempt at character modeling. Concept I have in mind is along the lines of a Tibetian or Sherpa. Starting with the head and looking for C&C. I'm a little intimidated posting on a board where such great work is posted but here goes. --Byron

Thanks. Here is the wire. What is the best way to to handle the dead ended edges at the top of the forehead? Should I continue them over the head or create a tri-poly or leave them with a 5 sided poly? --Byron

A decent start, here's what I'd probably do with those extra edgeloops:

Thanks for the help. I'll work on the making the face more native after I get a little further along. And thanks for the help on the edge loops... since I found out about them I've learned a bunch of new 4-letter words! lol
Here is an update.
