Being a newbie to Maya I hope someone can explain what's going on here.
1. I have a model with 9 pinlights attached. I'm trying to add a glow to each light via an OpticalFX node but the glow appears offset from the actual light source. In the attached image 1 pinlight is placed in the center of the yellow bulb to lower left but the actual glow effect is rendered quite a bit to the right - why is that?
2. In the attached image I have two pinlights, both with an OpticalFX node, but only one effect is visible. Is it only possible to have one glow in a scene and that glow is offset from the actual source?
So:
- Is it possible to lock the effect to the actual lightsource so when the light is moved the effect moves with it?
- Is there anyway to get more than one glow effect in a scene?
This is driving me nuts...
