zapper1998 12-25-2002, 02:19 PM This is a model i have been tinkering with and I am undecided on how to texture it. And would like some crit on what would be some good texturing ideas ??
And the feet are really, hmmm, undecided if I should go with something different, maybe a track set-up ??? or ????
Dirty up ideas???? would be great ???? sense I am well not to good at texturing yet, lol

Well not a bad mech, although the legs resemble the legs of a famous robot "Robie" from Lost in Space(the original). Not sure if you where going that route. As Robie used to say "Danger Will, Don't go there!! " As for texturing, well that is a disipline all it's own. See there are great modelers and there are great texture artists, we can't be both. Although we can try... If you need any help laying out the UV's to get the best mapping feel free to drop me aline and I'll be glad to help..

Can't help with the texturing, but the problem with the legs is that it looks like it was designed to walk left-right instead of front-back.

Yeah I agree, everything looks fine, but the real problem are the legs.
I wouldn't stand close to it since it looks like the legs are going to break right after the first step. Maybe it would be a good idea to model them again from scratch.
