This suit is based on the Draeger Mark IV rebreather system utilized by the US Navy for clandestine operations (NAVSPECWAR). However, it is completely necessary for marines in the post apocalyptic era and is standard issue for all combat swimmers.

This enclosed air-tight rubberized suit is composed of kevlar and thermally conductive woven fibers that keep its user warm in cold water and cool in the heat of combat. The kevlar layer protects the user from small arms fire (9mm), the 7.62 mm NATO round and even protect the user from fire (>600 degrees Celcius).

The rebreather system is completely enclosed but in case there is a problem with the carbon dioxide scrubbers, a 1 hour backup supply of air is provided. Despite the bulk and weight of the suit most people who have worn it, will swear that it feels as natural as their own skin, although the gloves make it harder to shoot the enemy.

Later versions of the suit, as you see here, allow the user to
zip and fold up the bottom of the pant legs and transform it into long shorts for long missions on foot or to just increase running
speed.

With most of the world in ruins, the role of the military is to protect the cities (what's left of them anyway) and to exterminate
all remaining terrorist forces or "axis of evil," if you prefer.

Thanks, um, i think. After the comment about the shoes, i realized that they really need more detail. The last thing i need is a pair of clown shoes.

Since it's a soldier, I was thinking of something like a sniper rifle or something since he probably won't be getting into a lot of skirmishes because most of humanity is dead, but we'll have to see and time is running out.

I should have started much earlier. If only I didn't have to freelance during the day...Oh well, great work everyone! I've learned a great deal from many of you. :D
