What kind of normal map node doesn't take rgb for input?
I want to blend two normal maps with a number of masks. This means I need to feed the bump node with an rgb channel. This of course doesn't work.
When hooking a normal map directly to the bump node it makes a outAlpha - bumpValue connection. OutAlpha? Where from? There's no alpha channel in my normal texture.
Anyone knows how to solve this?
Using Maya 7 btw.
