View Full Version : Panasonic actual CCD area

Hey people,
Im trying to figure out the actual CCD size (H mm x W mm) of the CCD in my Panasonic NV-GS400. The GS400 has a 1/4.7" ccd but I cant find the actual size anywhere. Im trying to input these figures into Maya to do a simple manual track. Does anyone have these details or know where i can get them?

Hi,I'm loking for the same info.It's really hard to find the exact dimensions of the ccd.Did you find something?

We've got a JVC HD camera here and we found in JVC site a PDF with the complete LCD size and relation between the camera zoom and 35mm film FOV and focal lenght. Maybe you should search for this information on panasonic website, in our case the CCD for our camera is 4.864mm x 2.739mm.
