I have been doing some big rendering projects and was trying to write a script to batch Render some frames.. my problem is that i need only a few frames out of each project for example 4,12,36,37....... the problem i have been runing into is that it will run the frist script to batch render the frame but it trys to render the secound frame before the frist is done ...is there any way to tell it not to run the secound script till the frist one completes rendering?

Thx Josh A.

I would recommend looking for one of the batch rendering scripts out there. Specifically the ones that write out .bat files. The .bat file will run the renders in sequence.

I can't think of a way to do it in mel, except for system calls.
If you're not using 7.0, I think Horvátth Szabolcs's RenderView extension will do it.
