Hello all,
This painting was done for personal project.
it was inspired by my friend and my design director Stephan Martinier! i had really fun painting this one~~afterwork painting is always good~

This is just awe inspiring. My eye goes right to the vanishing point just past the persons head standing in the foreground and I can't help but wonder what's past those buildings.
I love stuff like this because I can't do it. I can't even figure out where you started! Any tips for someone who struggles with backgrounds? Do you use custom brushes for work like this?

nashya - yes , i do use custom brushed that i made with different textures.
well nashya i'll probably do lots of sketches , just to get the composition and basic big shapes.
that's the most important two things of the painting. and research lots of reference from
google (http://www.google.com/) or corbis (http://pro.corbis.com/) , just to study and how real life picture works. i hope this hepled =).
