Hi I've been using that "comicgirl" model from Kiel Figgins' site (http://www.3dfiggins.com/gallery.php?id=38&item=91#91). My question is on whether or not it's possible to take that existing rig set up and transfer it to a different model. I'm purely an animator (with a little modeling) and I love that rig so I was trying to transfer it to a different model that I have. Any advice at all would be most helpfull.

Hey, opposed to transfering the rig, you 'could' transfer the model, if the model fit the existing skeleton. You then could just hide or delete the comic girl mesh, and bind up your character. Thats option 1.

Option 2 would be contacting Steven Kalinowski , www.stevenkalinowski.com (http://www.stevenkalinowski.com/) , the orginal setup artist for that rig, and seeing if he's interested in rigging up your other character.

Lastly would be 'make' your mesh fit. it wont look as good, but its all a game of give and take.

Good luck and stay tuned to my site, i have a few more rigs to put up in the near future.

Also, http://www.3dfiggins.com/side_page.php?id=68#freerigs here's a collection of other free rigs online that might better fit your model or at least get you some more optoins.
