you have a couple of problems i want to point out:

1-) the scale of the model : the temple is almost bigger than the 3\1 of the mountain. its too simple a building to be that big. you might wanna put some smaller buildings around to give a sense of scale.

2-) no roads to the temple?: how do people go to the temple? , i dont see any pathways\roads to it? , therefore it looks like it was build somewhere else and dropped there with a helicopter.

keep working on it

the scene looks a little empty, and yeah, a road/bridge would be nice also :)

Perhaps make the temple appear as apart of the mountain... a little more embedded... at the moment it seems to sit on a plain.

I like it though, good start.

agree with the ones above

also, maybe some rocks jutting out a little bit away from the bottom of the mountain... usually the land doesn't just kind of stop, there are usually scattered rocks jutting out here and there right off the land, ya know what i mean? maybe some waves too, because the water looks rather choppy to not have any of it crashing against the rock and makin it turn white and whatnot

looks good tho

Does it look better now?

Yeah that looks better. However the thing that boths me is the mountain itself. Am i assuming you made the mountain, made it all jagged, rough etc to make it look mountain-esk. Then just wrapped a mountain texture around it. It looks like the texture is wrapped and not part of the mountain itself. I always believe that the viewer should think the texture is part of the model and not separate. The dark edges, parts of the texture should be where the model is embosed, the jaggedness of the model should aline with the texture.

I my eyes it doesnt look like a huge towering mountain because of this, it looks small and a model.

Hope you understand what I mean :) I was never very good at explaining myself.
