hi, i have a problem. I am going to learn motionbuilder, but i have a question first. I use Zbrush to make my models, and then i export them to maya. The thing is, back in maya i use to rig them, but when i want to render i want to render it in Subd instead of polygon (cause of the displacement maps). Well, if i convert my polys to subds just before i want to render, then my smoothbind wont work anymore. The walkaround i do is before i rig my polygon model i use the connection editor in maya to connect the outmesh from the poly into the inmesh in subd. Then it works fine, i can rig my model in polygon, i can animate him, and when i want to render i just hide my poly and make my subd visible. but NOW, here is my QUESTION ;) if i want to export my model to motionbuilder, how am i suppose to do? I have heard that motionbuilder wont accept any subd model. If i connect my outmesh from my polygon into my inmesh for subd -before- i export it to motionbuilder, and then animate him, and back in maya, will my subd update then? Is there a workaround, so that i can animate my polygon and back in maya i can render out my subd model? Sorry, if this souds confusing, but its really a pain for me. :)

thanks in advance
