View Full Version : Muscular male torso modeling study
SupRore 03-26-2006, 05:33 PM I don't know very much about highpoly, and have been using this model (for far too long) to experiment with it. I figured, though, that I should go ahead and put it out for critique.

looks nice so far! The six-pack is great!
Could you please post a wire of the unsmoothed version? I'm looking forward to model a pretty muscular man in a while, too, so i could use some references ;)
Thx a lot!
Alex

Sure, here (http://i1.tinypic.com/scqhqx.jpg).
But my model's probably not good for reference; I only barely know what I'm doing.

Very good work. Perhaps the only thing i could pick on is the area where the bottom of the chest connects to the shoulder. It should flow straight into it, in a straight line basically. I hope that helps because you already have a great model.

Thank you for your critique.
Anyone else have comments?

It's surely a great start.
Pay attention to the pectoral: it should end up where the deltoid begins. In your model it seems to go under it instead.
Keep it up!!
