View Full Version : Character: Armor
NightshadeVFX 12-23-2002, 04:23 AM This is some armor i have been playing with for a couple days now. It was rendered 100% in maya with maya's native renderer.
The armor was made up and not modeled after any specific kind.

dont like the cape much... but i can deal with it
red flap in front definetly needs to go... doesn't look good
other than that very nice looking, gj mate
holee cow! thats amazing
i agree about the cape and cloth. maybe needs deformation
te metal in the torso looks a little weird. too clean.
even clean armors are imperfect.
the dragon in the chest is excelent

I agree about the chest armor. I'll play with it some more. The cloth stuff you see is just standin stuff. As you can see its in the WIP boards so its not complete. Im trying to get my hands some syflex so i can get some cloth animation on it. But who knows...
Thanks for the comments btw.

I would suggest bigger arms. He has huge shoulder armor compared to the arms. However, that maybe the part of your design:shrug:
