I love it...reminds me of lino prints we used to do in art class. If your not familiar with it, basically, we used carving tools to carve out pictures onto a sheet lino. Then you put ink on it and press it onto some paper, Basically it was like making a big stamp.
anyway...this picture looks exactly how they turned out. Keep 'em coming.

I dig it, espcially the second one, but in my opinion, now it is a photoshop image. :)
It is truly a gift to make Illustartor work without Phosotshop.
However, it is still very cool and I like it.

I agree...the drop shadow on the text and the texture detract from it
Cool,
I still dont even know what illustrator does.:airguitar

get rid of the splatters. thats just a brush. anyone can do that.
and get rid of the text. the text doesn't go with the image, and the dropshadow really is bad.
the female looks good. keep workin on it.

oh, and if you want something dirty, scan something dirty. your ps job wasn't that great either.
but if you want to make it dirty, dont just crumple up a pice of paper, scan it and turn it brown. pick something dirty up off the ground dude. go downtown, wherever you are, and find some paper on the ground. or scan the front of a white notebook that has seen better days.
get real dirt.
then jack up the levels. you know that little trick "ctrl+L"
that will bring out the natural dirtiness thats already there.
hell, you could just scan a plain sheet of clean paper and jack up the levels on that to get a nice dirty white sheet of paper. but be careful not to make the colors to vibrant. if that hapens, i t looks like shit. if that happens, do "ctrl+u" and lower your saturation.
........uh.....sorry for rambling.
im just a dirt junkie.
