i use polygons to build the hair...it's so complex that i can't edit it anymore...

it looks pretty good, but maybe polygons weren't sucha good idea? good luck adjusting or animating that! oh, and perhaps a wire would be informative.

well lets see, you either used poly strips, in which case it wont be hard for you to remodel the hair using nurbs strips and just retexturemapping them. or you actually used poly cylinders in which case i suggest you delete them and try for the option i listed with the nurbs strips.
