View Full Version : Animation : 'Destiny'
SteveWeber 12-22-2002, 10:43 PM Hi,
I have finished a new animation.
You can find it here including the description:
http://www.steve-weber.com/show.php?id=3&year=2002
It's 1min 25sec long.
The large version is 19mb
I've added a smaller version with 4.9mb for the people with slower connections (320x240,mono),
although the quality is not as good with several details not visible.

It's based on the character from this image and rendered in a similar style:

That's really nice. The only problem I have with it is the perspective. Perfect 3d perspective does not go well with peices like this.

The sketch effect was created with Final Toon for 3DS MAX. Check it out at www.finalrender.com Very impressive indeed.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments .
Here is a preview and a wireframe view from a part of the character.
The shapes were created with polygonal modelling.

All I can say is brilliant job!
did you use Max 5 with FinalRender (toon shader)?

Superb work- technically and artistically.
How would you rate FinalToon regarding ease of use and learning curve? An image of this calibre has me seriously considering the investment.

thats a great rendering and model. reminds me a bit of AI. the only thing i would say is that the comp effects with the boxes and stuff although good ditract a bit from your lovely model/rendering. also is that final toon from final render?
